Overview
Kèr Lènèzzeàf was founded durring the late 17th century in early fall of the year 1584, by Vú̄̄s Mēkīb 'Berry Buble' Béchīs Cúr Yórméō Tudor Prother. The establishment of Kèr Lènèzzeàf was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Kèr Lènèzzeàf's construction back out of the project. Vú̄̄s Mēkīb 'Berry Buble' Béchīs Cúr Yórméō Tudor Prother pushed on reguardles, and Kèr Lènèzzeàf was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.
Kèr Lènèzzeàf was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the late 17th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Kèr Lènèzzeàf is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.
Kèr Lènèzzeàf is buildings are arranged within a network of spacious flagstone streets which form a rectangular grid, where each block verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller block has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town sits behind an impressive looking clay brick wall. The wall is notable for querried stone blocks being used to renforce the clay bricks in the expected manner and locations. While the wall was built to the exact specifications of modern fortifications, one has to wonder why the money invested into creating such a well fortified wall wasnt spent on a less impressive looking wall crated from sturdier materials. Kèr Lènèzzeàf's walls would endure a brief bombardment, but only from light siege weapons. It seems more likly the town's walls were not designed with defence in mind but rather lending the town a certain air with visitors. Unfortuantly, these boondoggle-of-a-fortified wall are in extreem disrepair, so much so that one cannot tell if they are decaying from a lack of mantance or damage incured.
Before you’ve even set foot into the heart of Kèr Lènèzzeàf, you can smell it. The incense. It hangs about the town like a cloud. Monks, priests, and clerics are everywhere, all dedicated to the same divine, all performing the same rituals to bless and anoint buildings, streets, people, animals, you name it they are or have blessed it. The same holy symbol is everywhere too. Its on buildings, on people, and even branded into livestock. This certainly loves its divine. Asside form the revrent worship, you can see the citizens are preparing for something, and that something isn’t good. Weapons are worn openly. Defensive structures have been recently constructed to guard less used areas of the town. Merchants seem very eager to sell their wares at discount prices. Something is coming.
Civic Infrastructure
Kèr Lènèzzeàf has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Kèr Lènèzzeàf.
Kèr Lènèzzeàf has a Gravedigger's Guild, which is responsible for collecting the dead and laying them to rest according to all applicable laws and religious customs.
Kèr Lènèzzeàf has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.
Kèr Lènèzzeàf has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Kèr Lènèzzeàf's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.
Kèr Lènèzzeàf has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.
Kèr Lènèzzeàf has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Cultural Notes
Kèr Lènèzzeàf's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for its striking sculptural forms and often dazzling ornamental detail that characterizes the buildings general shape. The radiant colors, rich patterns, and symmetrical silhouettes employed by this style were backed up by rich decorative features including gardens, courtyards, extruded arches, domes, pointed domes, vaulted ceilings, elaborate painted and inlaid designs, and decorative sculptures.
In Kèr Lènèzzeàf there are unidentifiable people in the fog, but it seems to be okay.
The Creeper Ivy near Kèr Lènèzzeàf are known to be a mutant strain of the creature.
Kèr Lènèzzeàf's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves consuming a local toxin to channel Abjuration energies of tier 1 via guttural bellowing.
